The information given at the time of ordering or registering will be used by Ailleas Designs for the sole purpose of billing and dispatch information. At no time will your personal information be used by third parties. Please note, however, that if you share your name and website on our “Reviews” page, I cannot control how that information is used by others who may view your information. By purchasing jewellery from Ailleas Designs, you are not automatically registered for the monthly newsletter. Registration for the newsletter can be made via the link on the home page. You will not receive any unsolicited communications from Ailleas Designs. If you do, please alert Ailleas Designs immediately.
Terms & Conditions
1. Please be sure you have read and understand these conditions prior to order. Upon completion of your order, you will receive a confirmation email stated your unique purchase ID number. The information you provide upon purchase is accepted by Ailleas Designs as true and correct. If incorrection information is given, Ailleas Designs cannot be held responsible for any delay of delivery or loss of purchase.
2. Prices displayed may be changed at any time without prior notice. Please note that the buyer is liable for any additional costs such as duties or custom costs for packages sent outside the EU.
3. All purchases are dispatched within 24 hours (weekend and bank holidays excluded). If delivery is delayed on the part of Royal Mail, Ailleas Designs cannot be held responsible. If, in the course of delivery, damage occurs, please send the package back to Ailleas Designs in the condition in which it was delivered so that you may be issued with a full refund and Ailleas Designs may claim compensation from Royal Mail. Because jewellery is dispatched within 24 hours, the return policy is very generous and you have 10 business days in which to return an item if you reside in the UK; 15 if you reside outside the UK. Please alert Ailleas Designs by email that you are returning an item and why. Please return the receipt enclosed in your package when you make the return. Pendants will be refunded at 100 percent. Earrings will be refunded at 100 percent less £2, as Ailleas Designs must replace the wires before the earrings can be returned to inventory.
4. At this point in time, payment is accepted by PayPal, which includes being able to pay by credit/debit cards. Items are dispatched as soon as funds have transferred. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you confirm that you are entitled to pay using the PayPal account/credit/debit card supplied to PayPal and Ailleas Designs.
5. The appearance of the pieces may appear differently on computer monitors than in “real life”, specifically, the colour of the stones. Every effort is made to reproduce the colours realistically in the photographs and photographs have not been altered as regards the colour of the stones. The description of each piece, particularly the dimensions, are as close to accurate as possible. All carat weights given are measured on a professional jeweller's scale.
6. Ailleas Designs has built a reputation on the quality and unique nature of jewellery items. Stones are sourced from the best and most reputable UK-based suppliers and aredescribed as represented by said suppliers. Each piece of jewellery is hand made and an exact duplicate of each design will never be reproduced. The item you purchase will be entirely unique.
7. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree that any business information, particularly related to suppliers and pricing, will remain absolutely confidential and may not be passed to any third party with written agreement from Ailleas Designs. Under no circumstance may jewellery from Ailleas Designs be offered for resale without the express written permission of Ailleas Designs. At this time, Ailleas Designs is not available to other for display, sales or distribution.
8. The design of all jewellery shown on the Ailleas Designs website is subject to strict copyright law. Under no circumstances may you re-use any of the information on this site and no copy of designs is permitted. Should Ailleas Designs become aware that a design has been copied, legal action will be taken and the offending party will be responsible for all legal costs incurred by Ailleas Designs.
9. Ailleas Designs takes every care to ensure that all prices, descriptions and details quoted on the website are correct and accurate. Inevitably, mistakes may occasionally occur. If a mistake is found when the jewellery is received, please contact Ailleas Designs immediately so that a remedy to any misunderstanding or misinformation can be found.
10. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights. If any provision in this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be deemed severed from the Agreement and this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. Any waiver of a breach of this Agreement must be in writing. Any variation of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by Martha Mawson, Ailleas Designs. The headings are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of this Agreement. Any notices given under this Agreement shall be in writing and sent: a) by first class pre-paid post to the last known address of the party; or b) by fax to their last known fax number; or c) by e-mail to the last notified e-mail address of the party. The notice shall be deemed served after system confirmation of e-mail delivery. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland and the United Kingdom.
Ailleas Designs reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.
