UK Hallmark Information

Ailleas Designs does not produce any piece of jewellery that weighs more than the exempt weight of 7.78g. All pieces are weighed on a jeweller's scales to assure compliance with the law. Any UK-based designer/maker who is selling sterling silver jewellery MUST display this notice on their website and when trading in person. Ailleas Designs anticipates registering a hallmark with the Edinburgh Assay Office during 2013, thus lifting the weight restrictions on designs. Stay tuned.
